NASDAQ Dubai consolidates its key market operations with DFM
Key changes arising from DFM & NASDAQ Dubai consolidation are:
  • As of 11th July 2010, your existing brokerage account in NASDAQ Dubai will cease to continue.
  • If you already have a National Investor Number (NIN) issued by DFM and a DFM brokerage account with Emirates NBD Securities, you may continue trading with same in NASDAQ Dubai.
  • In case you do not have a NIN and a brokerage account in DFM, you are required to obtain the same by completing the required documentation. In this regard, you may visit our Customer Service Department or contact +9714-3160260 to obtain details about the new brokerage account opening process.
  • Please note that unless you possess a DFM NIN and a DFM brokerage account with Emirates NBD Securities, you will not be able to buy any shares listed in NASDAQ Dubai post merger.
  • Your existing USD bank account number in Emirates NBD will remain unchanged.
  • Your existing trading ID (TradeNet ID) will remain unchanged.
  • The commission/fees charged previously on your trades in NASDAQ Dubai will be changed. The revised commission structure is given below:

  • All NASDAQ Dubai securities will continue to be traded in USD currency.
  • Trading hours will be changed from the current 10:00am to 5:00pm (06:00 to 13:00 GMT) to 10:00am to 2:00pm (06:00 to 10:00 GMT), to be equal to the current trading hours of DFM.

  • As per NASDAQ Dubai rules, settlements will not take place on Sundays and holidays in United States of America.
  • Settlement schedule of NASDAQ Dubai will be changed to T+2 from 11th July onwards. Settlement schedule for trades executed on 3 days prior to the scheduled merger date is mentioned below:
